Students from four Hampton schools placed in this year’s Coliseum Central Holiday Art Contest. Students submitted their interpretations of “Holiday Magic” - this year’s theme. The middle school first place winner is our own Becca White (7th grade) whose art teacher is Mrs. Waite.
Over 130 HCS students created holiday-themed artwork to compete in the Coliseum Holiday Art Contest. The work of the finalists will be displayed daily on the Coliseum Central holiday site starting on Saturday, November 20, leading up to December 24, when the grand prize winner’s artwork will be posted. The site can be found at: coliseumcentralholiday.com. Congratulations, Becca!
Also, several Kilgore artists received Honorable Mentions and their artwork will also be shown on the website: From Ms. Smith’s classes - Abbagayl Brown (7th), Ava Tanner (8th), & Isabella Silva (6th). From Ms. Waite’s classes - Abigail Adams (6th) and Aliyah Boyce (6th).
Congratulations to all our artists!
